Case Study: Cargo Ship

Project: Preparedness
The Solution: Maritime Biological Incident Consequence Management Planning
Background

Sabre's experience in the biowarfare agent (BWA) arena is not limited to designing and deploying effective treatment technologies but also includes development of the entire methodology by which BWA decontamination activities are planned for and carried out.

Sabre was contracted by a large organization to develop restoration strategies in the event that a large cargo ship was found to be contaminated with a dangerous biological pathogen.

The preparation and development of this study heavily leveraged Sabre's decontamination, bio-safety, and chlorine dioxide applications experience.

Sabre’s study now forms the basis on which its client and other related organizations have formulated their approach to maritime biological contamination consequence management for large ships.
