The Work: Facility Audits Including Threat and Vulnerability Assessments & Recommendations

The Biological Weapons Proliferation Prevention project is a multi-year program designed to secure multiple Russian facilities that produced and stored dangerous biological pathogens and to engage applicable scientists in collaborative research. This program is sponsored by the US Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

Sabre is the lead Bio-Safety team member on the project responsible for all site bio-safety requirements and infrastructure elimination as applicable. During this project Sabre has visited and evaluated multiple facilities. It conducts threat and vulnerability assessments and makes health and safety recommendations. Sabre also provides formal hazardous operations training to the project team with a focus on operations in environments contaminated with hazardous biological pathogens.
